2019 Ha Long-Quang Ninh tourism week
Accordingly, the week will include a great number of programs and activities. Of which 9 main programs will be organized, such as: A program welcoming Ha Long summer 2019; a cultural and sport activity and an art performance associated with activities to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the Quang Ninh Coal Mine Special Zone (May 25,1955-2019) and 44 years of the National Liberation Day (April 30, 1975-2019); an exhibition themed “Ha Long Bay then and now"; a Quang Ninh OCOP Summer Fair 2019; a tourism week greeting 2019 summer; an tourism promotion in association with some cultural and sports activities in Minh Chau, Quan Lan and Cai Rong town (Van Don district); an opening ceremony of Dragon Park, rose park; the 4th tourism, culture and sports week in Co To.
In addition, during the tourism week, a variey of programs and events will be also held including: Bach Dang traditional festival; a ceremony to celebrate the Vietnam Book Day; a ceremony to launch the China’s Fangchenchang-Vietnam’s Mong Cai tourism route; an opening ceremony of the renovating and upgrading Pac Sui waterfall in Tien Yen; Lac Thanh pagoda communal house festival; a tennis tournament in Mong Cai City; an exhibition titled "From Thang Long Imperial Palace to Truc Lam Sanctuary"; and 2019 the Tuan Chau-Ha Long International beach volleyball tournament.
The annual Ha Long-Quang Ninh Tourism Week will be the first activity that kick off the Quang Ninh’s tourism season. It promises to bring an exciting asmosphere to the local and visitor, contributing to promote tourism sector, and boost the development of not only Quang Ninh tourism but also Vietnam tourism.
The week is scheduled to take place from April 24 to May 1.
